Disc Golf Collectors (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates discgolfcollectors.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

Account information: email address, username, display name, profile photo. Google OAuth provides your name, email, and Google profile photo.
Collection data: disc molds, runs, conditions, photos, acquisition prices, and notes you add to your collection.
Contribution data: sale prices you report, collector notes, run submissions, and bin finds.
Usage data: pages visited, searches performed, features used.
Email address if you join our early access list via Kit.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and operate the platform
To display your public vault and profile (if you choose public)
To calculate collection values and show market data
To award contributor points and badges
To send account notifications, ISO matches, and price alerts
To improve the platform
To send launch announcements if you joined our early access list

3. Information We Share

We do not sell your personal information. Ever.

Public profile: if your collection is public, others see your username, profile photo, disc collection, contributor tier, and badges. Acquisition prices are always private.

Contribution data: sale prices you report are used anonymously for market valuations.

Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
Vercel — hosting (vercel.com)
Anthropic Claude — AI disc scanning (anthropic.com)
Kit — email list (kit.com)

4. Collector Marketplace

A built-in collector marketplace is planned for a future release. Until then, we do not facilitate purchases or sales on third-party platforms through our app.

5. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored on Supabase with row-level security. All connections use HTTPS. Acquisition prices are never accessible to other users.

6. Your Rights

Control public vs private in settings
Delete your account by emailing hello@discgolfcollectors.com (deleted within 30 days)
Unsubscribe from email list at any time
Request a copy of your data by emailing hello@discgolfcollectors.com

7. Cookies

Essential cookies only to keep you logged in. No advertising cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has an account.

9. Changes

We'll notify users of significant changes by email or platform notice.
